Craig Asselin, Licensed Psychologist
Craig is a Licensed Psychologist and Certified Group Psychotherapist with over 12 years of experience providing mental health services to individuals, couples, and families. He has spent the last six years working as a Staff Psychologist and the assessment coordinator at the Florida State University Counseling Center. Craig earned his doctorate from the Combined-Integrated Clinical and School Psychology program at James Madison University. He has also earned his Master of Education degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Marriage and Family Therapy from Springfield College. He also earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Syracuse University in Psychology. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Asselin's research has been focused in the area of well-being and assessment. His areas of interest include: depression, anxiety, marital and family conflict, and life stage transitions. Craig is an integrative psychologist, utilizing aspects of family systems and psychodynamic theory. He works with individuals and couples 18 and over.
